Guadeloupe
Guadeloupe is a beautiful and diverse destination in the Caribbean Sea. It is an overseas department and region of France, which means it has the same political status as any other French region. Guadeloupe is composed of several islands, each with its own charm and attractions. The main islands are Basse-Terre and Grande-Terre, which are separated by a narrow channel called the Rivière Salée. Basse-Terre is the western island, where you can find the lush rainforest, the impressive volcano of La Soufrière, and many waterfalls and hiking trails.
